OLDERFLEET ON-SHORE WINTER SERIES

A series of races organised by the Northern Ireland club. This is race 4 in the series

THE RULES ARE VERY SIMPLE: COMPLETE A 2000M PIECE AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Races are in the SOLO boat category. Olderfleet have introduced more age categories which are explained below.

When you send your Solo result (which you do by emailing a screen shot of your fnished result) in please indicate your club or gym etc, race category, date of birth. and

OPEN: Open to all, no age restrictions.

MASTERS

30-39 years: between 30 to 39 years (incl.) on race day.

40-49 years: between 40 to 49 years (incl.) on race day.

50-59 years: between 50 to 59 years (incl.) on race day

60-69 years: between 60 to 69 years (incl.) on race day.

70+ years: aged 70 years or over on race day.

JUNIORS

A competitor ceases to be a junior on the 31st December of the year in which they reach the age of eighteen years.

Junior 18: under the age limit in note above.

Junior 16: has not attained the age of sixteen years before the 1st January of the year of competition.

Junior 14: has not attained the age of fourteen years before the 1st January of the year of competition.

ADAPTIVE

Adaptive LTA: Rowers with a verifiable and permanent disability who have functional use of their legs, trunk and arms for rowing, and who can utilise the sliding seat on the Concept 2 indoor rower

Adaptive A: Rowers who have minimal or no trunk function (i.e. shoulder function only)

Please make sure you enter into the correct category.

FULL RESULTS WILL BE POSTED ON SUNDAY EVENING – Virtual pennants will be sent out as soon as possible after the results to all category winners. If numbers allow medals will also be awarded to the top 3 in each category.

Results to be sent by photo via message button on our facebook page with correct date showing on your PM. Photos MUST be clear.

If sending on someone’s behalf you MUST clearly indicate the rowers name, age category and DOB.
